Problem

Paper-based fare enforcement made it hard to verify cards, collect payments and follow each fine through appeals.
Analysis

We followed an inspector from card check to final resolution, including tunnels and dead zones.
Architecture

A rugged Android inspector app with offline mode, linked to a back-office platform for payments, appeals and court workflow.
Outcome

In production with a tram operator in Ireland: fines issued, paid and tracked in one connected system.
