Project
Parcel Sorting Systems
Built with Embedded system developmentSoftware development
At a glance
- Scale
- Built for high-volume postal operations, where a national operator accepts around one million parcels a day.
- What we built
- The embedded software on the machine, the management system and the rugged tablet app.
- Capacity
- Each machine sorts at least 10,000 items an hour.
- Where it runs
- In daily use at sorting centres across Türkiye: Hadımköy, Tuzla, Ankara, İzmir, Sakarya, Adana and Diyarbakır.
How it came together
-
Problem
Parcels were sorted by hand or on older equipment, which limited how many could be processed.
-
Analysis
We studied how a parcel is identified, routed and handed to its outlet.
-
Architecture
Control software for the conveyor and scanner gates, linked to routing data.
-
Outcome
Parcels are identified and routed automatically at line speed.
